Emma Fletcher
Managing Director

We are proud to announce that Emma Fletcher, managing director of SmithsonHill, has been recognised for her engagement in the ongoing physical and economic development of Cambridge, making it onto the Planners Women of Influence list for the second consecutive year.

Putting Cambridge on the map…

The Planner is the official magazine of the Royal Town Planning Institute, the business monthly for planning professionals. Emma’s inclusion in the list puts Cambridge firmly on the map, something about which she is passionate. Indeed, earlier this month, she took part in a panel discussion at MIPIM, the world’s premier real estate event. The discussion covered how planners along the London, Stansted, Cambridge innovation corridor can collaborate to achieve more inclusive growth, improved productivity and quicker delivery for the benefit of the whole of the UK.

“It’s flattering to be recognised amongst this group of very impressive women and important that the city of Cambridge has not been overlooked in this list. A recent study predicts that our city will have the fastest growing economy of all Britain’s cities  in 2018. It is also recognised in the UK Government’s recent Industrial Strategy as a job  creation hotspot,” commented Emma.
