Developing future-changing collaborative environments

SmithsonHill serves the needs of businesses and the local community with an emphasis on the South of Cambridge. Working on projects that are respectful of available resources, and how to make the most of them, our projects address the concerns and fulfil the needs of Cambridge residents, specifically around infrastructure, transport and biodiversity.

Formerly Project UNA

SmithsonHill is developing ARC, a proposed park which will facilitate excellence in agricultural technology (AgriTech) to address the national and global challenges of sustainable food production.

Set in a high-quality parkland environment with tree lined avenues, footpaths, open spaces and informal recreation areas, ARC will enable safe trials of crops and new technology. It will also provide a positive community-based space for employees that will enable quality and balance of life.

More about ARC

A thriving innovation hub for AgriTech companies

3,000SQM (30,000SQFT) Innovation hub for AgriTech entrepreneurs and early stage startups to grow their emerging businesses

The innovation hub will bridge the physical landscape of the ARC site and surrounding farm land to provide an inspiring spring board for creation of new AgriTech solutions for the future. It aims to be an exemplar building demonstrating the latest thinking in sustainable technology and principles, while providing the opportunity for cross- pollination of ideas and people at the very heart of the ARC site.
