Whittlesford Millennium Group are once again hosting their Safari Supper event this June. The Safari Supper features canapes, a main meal, puddings and drinks at various locations throughout the village.

As part of their fundraising efforts the Safari Supper night will include a raffle of items donated by businesses in the local area.

We will be supporting the event by donating a voucher for the raffle. The voucher entitles the winner to 3 months of the Organic Vegetable box, supplied by the Cambridge Organic Food Company, worth over £135. The locally grown produce will arrive fresh to the winner’s door each week with a variety of organic, seasonal produce.

Since its inception, The Millennium Group has raised over £40,000 for local charities and not-for-profit organisations including the Whittlesford Parish Church Restoration fund. This year the money raised from the Safari Supper and Village Quiz will be put towards renovating and providing new equipment for the Lawn Playground in Whittlesford.

Emma Fletcher, Managing Director said “We are keen supporters of community are always looking to get involved with activities to support schools, sports, charities and more. We live locally and work locally and to us it is important to contribute in different ways to the communities around us.

We wish the Whittlesford Millennium Group the best of luck in their fundraising and want to thank them for the opportunity to be involved.”

Although tickets for the Safari Supper have sold out there are still opportunities to get involved. The event is an excellent social event taking place in Whittlesford village on June 17th. For any enquiries please contact the event organisers
